The Project Engineer will be based in La Coruña, Spain and will report to the Engineering & Quality Manager, developing a complete management of the assigned aviation projects, from the detailed engineering as per customer specifications and design Code, interpretation of drawings, preparation and revision of technical documents for the Project, customer support during the project execution (meetings, technical issues, queries…), suppliers evaluation and control, cost analysis and lead times. Project Engineer should have a strong technical & functional knowledge of equipment and must be able to take ownership of the complete Project.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated quick learner, with a bias for action, organized person and be able to work under pressure, with good skills of communication, leadership, planning and team coordination. It will be required a high capacity of analysis, problems solving and time management.

Responsibilities:

• Lead projects in Aviation market with projection Military and Environmental markets.
• Mechanical calculations as per ASME code and C€ marking
• Manage project timelines and budgets.
• Create and review project documents like drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Support customers during and after project execution.
• Find and evaluate new products and suppliers.
• Assist Sales with bids when required.
• Cost control

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Mechanical Designer
• Project management experience.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Professional demeanour.
• Technical or vocational training in engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Navision (or similar ERP), AutoCAD, and SolidWorks viewer.
• High English proficiency.
• Knowledge of manufacturing pressure vessels.
• Experience in Aviation and Military Marine markets.
